Babinda Falls: Not for the Faint-Hearted
Some people are happy to admire a waterfall from the lookout. Apparently, I am not one of those people. Babinda Falls involved slippery rocks, steep scrambling and a very good reminder that the best views don’t always come easily. 😂

Oops, I Did It Again!
Two years after rain, leeches and absolutely no view, I went back to Devil’s Thumb — this time with 31 other hikers. The weather still had its own ideas, but at least I finally learned that in the rainforest, nature always gets the last word. 😊

I Made It to the Top… Just Not Before Cut-Off
I trained for Point to Pinnacle for three months. Then, two weeks before the race, diverticulitis and a hospital stay changed everything. I went anyway, planning to walk what I couldn’t run—and somehow still made it to the summit, just not before the official cut-off. 😊
