It was great getting out and about again with these lovely people.
The thick cloud decided we weren’t getting much of a view that day, but that didn’t make the hike any less worthwhile. Sometimes the reward isn’t the panorama at the top—it’s the people you walk with, the strange little things you notice along the way, and the adventure of getting there.
And besides, when the mountain refuses to give you a view, apparently it gives you bright red mushrooms instead.
