Catching Up With My BFF — and Collecting a Bib
We were complete opposites at university and barely connected back then. Years later, we crossed paths again and discovered we had far more in common than either of us expected — including teaching, music and plenty of karaoke. 😊

32K Training Run
Thirty-two kilometres from Trinity Beach to Palm Cove, a tropical sunrise, good company — and brunch waiting at the end. Not a bad way to start the week. 😊

We entered a 60K relay called In for the Bling. Two of us also entered, unintentionally, In for the Bonus Kilometres. 😂

Limping My Way to the Finish Line
I started the Melbourne Marathon feeling strong, then a toilet queue, a pulled groin and a failing knee turned the race into a very different kind of challenge. Somehow, I still limped my way to the finish. 😊

What in the World Am I Doing Here?
Everyone around me looked athletic, confident and completely at home in the marathon queue. I stood there holding my bib wondering what in the world I was doing there.
