Bye Bye, Israel
After ten days, it was time to say goodbye to Israel. I’ll miss the places and experiences, but most of all, the beautiful people I shared them with. Some trips stay with you because of what you see; others because of who was standing beside you.

I Said We Were Going for a Picnic…
They thought we were getting up early for a picnic at Copperlode Dam. We were. I simply forgot to emphasise the 6km walk attached to it. 😊

150 Kilometres, Rain or Shine
I signed up to run 150 kilometres for MS, combined it with marathon training, ran through the rain and dragged my husband out of bed to provide photographic evidence. Because apparently charity kilometres still require proof. 😉

Happy Birthday to the Sexiest 86-Year-Old
Birthday rules are very clear: no objections are allowed when I declare my husband the sexiest 86-year-old in the whole wide world. 😊

Bring It On, 2026
I left my doctor’s office feeling defeated after learning that my fibroids had returned. Then I remembered something important: I’ve been here before — and I didn’t just survive it.

I Think I Am Ancient
I finally met someone who understood what it was like to be a mature-age nursing student. Then she told me she was in her early 30s. Suddenly, I felt prehistoric. 😂
