A Gold Medal for Kuya Jing
Three days before my 50th birthday, I learned that my dear friend and “kuya” had passed away. I couldn’t cry, so I ran — and dedicated my 5 km gold medal to a man who taught me what loyalty, friendship and faith really meant.

I Don’t Want to Care Anymore
I only wanted to feed my gut bacteria. Somehow that ended with diverticulitis, a seven-hour ambulance wait, a MET call, suspicious bruises and a paramedic asking whether the man in our photo was real or wax. 😂
