Graeme, Luna and I volunteered at the Crocs Cairns Dua/Tri event.
Although I have a sneaking suspicion that Graeme and Luna thought their job description was simply:
turn up and look cute.
Clearly, they missed the memo that they were actually on the volunteer roster. 
To be fair, Luna worked very hard in her own way.
She spent the morning greeting competitors, supervising proceedings and collecting enough pats to last her at least a week.
Graeme, meanwhile, appeared to have been assigned to the highly specialised role of sitting beside the celebrity.
I suppose every event needs morale officers.
