That Face Only a Mother Could Love

Luna has been extra clingy since I got home this afternoon.

Probably because I’ve been out all week.

For the past five days, I’ve been leaving home at 5:30 am for my 6:45 shift in Babinda, then usually not getting back until after 4 pm.

Every afternoon, Luna has done her best to convince me that we urgently need to play.

Unfortunately, between cooking dinner and studying, I’ve barely had time to meet her very reasonable expectation of constant attention.

Today, though, I finally managed to sneak in a nap on the lounge.

Luna was very well-behaved and let me sleep…

for a while.

Eventually, she decided that enough was enough and that closer supervision was required.

So she climbed up and settled herself right on top of me.

Apparently, after being neglected all week, personal space was no longer part of the agreement.
