I was taking self-isolation seriously. My guinea pigs, however, were far more concerned about the disruption to their breakfast schedule.

Ram had already eaten his grass and pellets, but apparently the empty food tray was still a serious matter. 😂

Originally written in 2015 What started with a few guinea pigs somehow turned into their own little neighbourhood—houses, pathways, plants and, of course, a dining area. They had taken over part of the balcony so completely that it no longer looked like pet housing. It looked like a tiny village.

I found RoRo sitting peacefully in the wet-seed bowl one morning, looking remarkably like a tiny pink Buddha. 😂

Two tiny piglets—and somehow already colour coordinated with me. 😂

Jess was in the piggies hospital, and her friends gathered outside. Concern for her wellbeing—or the smell of lettuce? I’m still not sure. 😂

My bill wasn’t even due yet, but apparently our resident Telstra employee decided we’d had enough internet for the month. 😂

I called the guinea pigs “his babies” and Graeme looked confused. Naturally, I had only one question left: if they’re not his, then who’s the daddy? 😂
