The wet season had well and truly arrived, and the guinea pig village was no longer coping.
Their homes were normally out in the garden, but after so much rain I couldn’t keep their bedding dry. Eventually there was only one sensible option:
Evacuation. 
So the entire village was temporarily relocated to the front balcony, houses and all, until the weather improved.
