We invited a few neighbours over for dinner, and somehow the conversation turned to pets.
The neighbour who lives just above us looked at me and asked:
“You have pets?”
I had to laugh.
Apparently the guinea pig village and the bird population had been keeping a very low profile. 
Well, I guess it wasn’t very obvious.
