Everything is a bit chaotic in the aviary at the moment.
Singh, our Indian ringneck, has been terrorising Red, the red-rump parrot.
Abe, the white budgie, seems to want everybody’s attention.
And the baby quails are busy learning how to fly.
Basically, there is a lot going on. 
For Minnie, our elderly and injured finch, I think it all became a little too much.
So apparently she decided:
That’s it. I’m moving out.
And she found herself a quiet little refuge underneath the fish tank. 
Away from Singh.
Away from Abe.
Away from the baby quails.
Away from everybody’s drama.
Just Minnie, sitting peacefully under the aquarium while the rest of the feathered household carries on elsewhere.
Clever girl. 
Sometimes when the house gets too noisy, you just have to find your own little corner.
Even if that corner happens to be under a fish tank.
