I’d noticed that Chestnut looked considerably bigger than her herd mates, but I convinced myself it was probably just her fur.
She is very fluffy, after all.
So today I decided to give her a haircut.
After removing what felt like two-thirds of the guinea pig, I stood back expecting a much slimmer Chestnut to emerge.
Unfortunately, the evidence suggested otherwise. 
Apparently, she wasn’t carrying all that extra fur.
She was carrying extra Chestnut.
