This cruise ship was coming into Cairns Wharf while I was attending the ANZAC Day dawn service this morning.
Against the dark, rainy backdrop, this gigantic floating light looked absolutely majestic. I’d never seen a cruise ship coming into the wharf before, so I discreetly took a couple of photos.
Then I heard someone behind me say:
“How rude it is to take photos during such a solemn service.”
Well, I guess that makes two of us.
Because it’s also rude to talk during a solemn service.
