One of my clients is away but asked me to come anyway because Bailey, their dog, might miss me.
Since Bailey is very chill and not reactive, I thought it might be a good opportunity for Luna to meet him.
Luna isn’t reactive either, but she can be socially anxious and sometimes comes across as a little aggressive when she feels unsure.
For the first 20 minutes, she was definitely stressed.
She tried to tell Bailey off a few times, and Bailey basically responded by being… Bailey.
Calm.
Unbothered.
Probably wondering what all the drama was about. 
So we decided to take them to the park and give them a bit more space.
Once the pressure was off, Luna started to relax.
Then Graeme put Bailey’s leash back on to take him for a longer walk.
I thought I’d stay behind with Luna.
Except Luna had other ideas.
The moment she saw Graeme and Bailey walking away…
she followed them.
That might not sound like much, but Luna is normally my Velcro dog.
So the fact that she willingly left me behind to follow Graeme and Bailey?
That was a big deal.
Apparently, Bailey had passed the Luna approval process. 
For a first meeting?
Success.
