Thirteen years earlier, we promised to join our lives and stay together “till death do us part.”
Those years had been eventful and, at times, very trying. Marriage had never meant finding a perfect person or having a perfect life together.
It meant finding someone whose imperfections somehow fitted with mine.
Through everything, Graeme remained my husband, my partner in crime, and the person I had chosen to journey through life with.
