Not sure which was more threatening—the coronavirus or whatever industrial-strength chemical Changi Airport was using to fight it. The smell was so strong it felt like my lungs were being disinfected too. 
And yet, outside all that anxiety, the airport garden was blooming as beautifully as ever.
Funny how ordinary life keeps producing something lovely, even when the world is starting to feel anything but ordinary.
