Wow. Two decades already?
I’m glad we made it this far.
Looking back, we weathered storms, made a lot of compromises and learned to forgive each other probably twenty years’ worth of times.
Not because we are bad people, but because we are simply two very different people.
We have a 31-year age gap. We come from different cultures. We have different personalities — Graeme is a quiet extrovert while I’m an outgoing introvert.

And then, of course, there were the sceptics.
But I’m happy we made it this far.
Not because we proved anyone wrong.
I’m just happy for us.
Twenty years of marriage doesn’t mean twenty years without difficulties. It means somehow continuing to choose the marriage through all the differences, frustrations, compromises, forgiveness and ordinary days in between.
And apparently, we’re still here.
Now, Graeme, can you please tell me where you buried all that gold?
I’ve already created a garden from all the digging.
